Construction

Glass webbing and ladder tapes are manufactured from air textured filament >E= glass yarns and provide a high volume of entrapped air and consequent good thermal insulation. The basic fibres are lightweight, resilient, incombustible and suitable for operation in applications of up to 550°C.

Properties 

Glass webbing and ladder tapes are resistant to oils, most chemicals and solvents. Will not rot and is unaffected by bacterial growth.
Suitable for temperatures up to 550°C. Have a medium thermal conductivity.
